Master Degree
Training in the master’s program is carried out under the guidance of the supervisor in accordance with the individual plan of the master’s student and is based on his active independent work.
The individual work plan of the undergraduate student with the participation of the supervisor is developed for each academic year on the basis of the relevant working curriculum of the specialty, taking into account the topic of research and the wishes of the undergraduate.
The individual curriculum is approved by the head of the department no later than October 1 for the first year of study and by September 15 for the second year of study. Individual curricula of undergraduates are made in 2 copies, the first is stored at the graduating department, and the second – at the undergraduate student.
The main forms of work in the master’s degree are:
- review, problem lectures;
- individual training sessions;
- scientific and educational seminars on certain topics, sections of academic disciplines and research conducted by undergraduates;
- independent work, including research on the approved topic and preparation of a master’s thesis.
Reporting forms for undergraduates on the implementation of the curriculum are:
- passing exams and tests;
- reports at scientific conferences and seminars;
- preparation and defense of interim reports on performed research;
- preparation and defense of a master’s thesis.
