If you have just finished school, have already received a certificate of complete secondary education and are or have already passed the External Independent Assessment (EIA), it is time to choose a future profession. You will enter the bachelor level – the first level of higher education. Your studies at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” will last 4 years. As a result, you will receive a diploma of higher education and the right to continue education at the next (second) level of higher education – a master’s degree.

   Bachelor is the first level of higher education of a person who, on the basis of a complete general secondary education, has obtained a complete higher education, fundamental and special skills and knowledge of a generalized object of work (activity), sufficient to perform tasks and responsibilities (works) of a certain level of professional activity provided for primary positions in a particular type of economic activity.

  Training of specialists of the educational and qualification level of a bachelor can also be carried out on the basis of the educational and qualification level of a junior specialist.

  • Free education

Attention! The state order for the first year is established upon enrollment in the specialty: how many are recruited – how many are credited.

  • Admission to the best technical university is real

Compared to previous years, the minimum score in the profile disciplines is significantly reduced – mathematics from 125 points and physics or a foreign language from 100 points (or vice versa); Ukrainian language and literature from 100 points.

  • An increased scholarship is paid

Our first-year students (budget places) will receive a scholarship in accordance with the terms of its accrual (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine 1050 of 28.12.2016).

  • Military department from the third year

Starting from the third year, full-time education students can enroll in the military department of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and, upon its successful completion, they are awarded the military rank of reserve officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Postponement from conscription until the end of full-time education.

  • International exchange and cooperation programs

Really study / train abroad, get a second diploma and expand your opportunities under the program “Erasmus +”, EduNet and others.

  • Chummery

It is provided to all non-resident students with a payment of approximately from UAH 569 per month. Subsidy is possible (http://studprofkom.kpi.ua/news/2846).

  • Student leisure

Sports sections and clubs of various directions, recreation and tourism; cultural and intellectual events and festivals.

  • Submission of documents

   Applicants to the 1st year (bachelor’s degree) for full-time form, except for categories by quotas (privileged) and junior specialists, submit applications only in electronic form.
All other categories of applicants apply only in paper form.
Applicants can submit up to 7 applications for no more than 4 specialties of Ukrainian universities, which provide for admission at public expense, and determine their priority.
The number of contract applications is not limited.

  • Features of the 2020 introductory campaign
  1. Requirements for the results of EIA are significantly reduced.
  2. The results of the external independent evaluation of 2017, 2018 and 2019 are accepted, except for the evaluations in English, French, German and Spanish, the results of which are accepted only from the certificates of the external independent evaluation of 2018 and 2019.
  3. For natural and technical specialties: 142 Energy Engineering; 143 Atomic energetics ; 144 Heat Power Engineering ; Additional points are credited to preparatory courses Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
  4. Parallel education in any university; two day forms are possible, but not a budget.
  5. Calculation of the competitive score of the applicant. Competitive score on natural-technical direction of preparation of bachelors taking into account weighting factors is calculated by the formula

CS = (0,5·Math. + 0,2·Phys. (For.Lang) + 0,2·Ukr.Lang + 0,05·CB + 0,05·Ab)·IR·RC, all within 200 points

CB – certificate ball;
Ab – additional point of the student of preparatory courses of KPI or the prize-winner of all-Ukrainian Olympiads;
IR – industry ratio 1,03 (for the first priority);
RC – rural coefficient, for applicants registered in rural settlements and educated on their territory in the year of entry, 1,02.

How to become our student

1.Register on the MES website to take the External Independent Assessment in Ukrainian language and literature, mathematics, physics (or a foreign language).
2. Pass the External Independent Assessment in Ukrainian language and literature (with a minimum score of 100) and mathematics, physics (foreign language) – 125 (provided that one of them is at least 100 points).
3. Get a certificate of complete general secondary education.
4. Apply electronically to the single state electronic database on education from July 10 to 26 , where:
