Mykyta Vorobyov
Scientific degree – candidate of technical sciences
In 2010, he graduated from the Master’s program at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” in the field of “Boilers and Reactors” and obtained the qualification of a researcher engineer.
From 2010 to 2013 he studied at the post-graduate course at the Gas Institute of
National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in specialty 05.14.06 – technical thermo physics and industrial thermal power engineering. In 2014, at the Institute of Gas of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine he defended PhD dissertation by topic “Energy technological improvement of heat utilization processes in high-temperature fuel furnaces” for obtaining a scientific degree of the candidate of technical sciences (supervisor – honored Scientist of Ukraine, Dr.Sc.(Eng.), Professor Soroka Boris Semenovich).
Since 2015 he has been working at the Department of Nuclear Power Plants and Engineering Thermophysics as an Assistant.
As of 01.09.2017 he is acting as the scientific secretary of the department. Teaching work at KPI them. Igor Sikorsky combines with scientific activity at the Institute of Gas of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, where he works part-time at the department of high-temperature heat and mass transfer.
Area of scientific interests: high-temperature heat and mass transfer, industrial furnaces, processes and devices for utilization of heat, use of alternative fuels, fight against harmful emissions.
Teaches disciplines: “Steam boilers”, “Auxiliary systems of boilers and reactors”, “Steam generators and heat exchangers of NPP”, “Heat and mass transfer” and others.
Publications: author of more than 40 printed works, including 12 articles in professional editions of Ukraine, the USA, Belarus, Bulgaria; 6 patents of Ukraine, 2 methodical instructions. Regularly participates in scientific conferences in Ukraine and abroad.
