According to the amendments to the Law of Ukraine On Higher Education of December 18, 2019 and taking into account the epidemiological situation caused by the pandemic COVID-19 additional Admission Exam to the Master Degree of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 2020 was canceled
Studying for a master’s degree at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” is reviewed by “Preparation for a master’s degree at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute».
Admission to the master’s program is carried out according to the competition based on the results of admission examinations, taking into account the integral rating of the student.
The term of study for the master’s program for full-time form on the basis of bachelor’s degree is two years.
Master – is an educational degree obtained at the second level of higher education and awarded by a higher educational institution as a result of successful completion of the relevant educational program by the higher education applicant.
The master’s degree is obtained by educational-professional or by educational-scientific program. The volume of the educational-professional program of master’s preparation makes 90-120 ECTS credits, the volume of the educational-scientific program – 120 ECTS credits. The master’s educational and scientific program must include a research (scientific) component of no less than 30 percent.
The master must::
- be able to use the acquired knowledge into innovative technologies, demonstrating creativity and flexibility in the application of knowledge, experience and methods;
- have methodological knowledge, be able to analyze, evaluate and compare alternatives related to the problem (task), be able to generate and optimize new solutions;
- have the competencies of conducting scientific research at the modern level, performing field and simulative experiments, to give a reasonable interpretation of the results;
- be able to summarize and prepare for publication the results of scientific research;
- have a high level of oral and written competence in their native and at least one foreign language;
- be able to present the results of their work in the form of reports, articles, abstracts, using modern means of presentation.

Copies are certified by the Admissions Committee of faculties and institutes in the presence of the original. Copies of documents must be left to submit documents to the Admissions Committee
- Admissions examinations to study for a master’s degree based on the obtained degree (educational and qualification level) of higher education are conducted in the form of United Admission Test in a Foreign Languages and professional admission examinations completed in the year of admission.

Competition Score (CS) upon admission to obtain a master’s degree is calculated by equation:
CS = П1 + П2 + RA,
where П1 – rating of United Admission Test in a Foreign Languages,
П2 – raiting of professional admission examinations (on a scale from 100 to 200 points),
RA – numerical equivalent of the applicant’s academic rating.Applicant’s academic rating RA calculated by attestation commission on the basis of the annex to the relevant document on the obtained educational (educational-qualification) level and the submitted documents on the creative achievements of the applicant according to:
RA = 2RAs + 2RT,
where RAs – academical component (from 2 to 5 points),

United Admission Test in Foreign Languages
Applicants wishing to take part in the competitive selection for a master’s degree must pass the tests of the United Admission Test in Foreign Languages (UAT), which are conducted using the EIT technology.
A prerequisite for passing the united admission test in foreign languages (EMI) for admission to the master’s degree is registration of the applicant in a higher education institution.
In 2020, registration for the united admission test will last from May 12 to June 5, 2020.
Registration is carried out by the admissions committee of one of the higher education institutions in which the applicant wishes to participate in the competitive selection.
Registration will take place exclusively remotely using the “Electronic Campus” system for graduates of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute this year and using e-mail for graduates of previous years.
Applicants can register at any higher education institution , regardless of where they will apply for admission.
