Timofey Bibik

Graduated National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, specialty “Nuclear power plants” in 2004.

After the KPI, he worked as an operator of turbine equipment at Khmelnitsky NPP. From 2006 to 2015 he worked in a private company “NPP Operation Support Institute” as head of the “Laboratory of operational safety”.

In 2013 Defended Ph.D thesis in specialty 05.13.22 – Project and programs control “Theoretical basis of nuclear power plants safety systems qualification support program control in a dynamic environment”.

Scientific interests: nuclear safety culture, safety assessment NPP, analysis of severe accidents at NPP, nuclear security culture, nuclear security and physical protection system NPP.

Participating in international projects and experiments, taking part in organization of international schools and seminars. Took training courses in Czech Republic, Austria, Georgia, England, USA.

Giving courses: “Introduction to Nuclear Safety Culture”, “Nuclear Safety Culture”, “Fundamentals of NPP Operation”, “Mode of Operation of NPP”.
