Academic degree – PhD in physics and mathematics sciences

Title – docent of Department of Nuclear Power Plants and Engineering Thermal Physics.

Graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev in 1958, where since 1957 worked as: laboratory assistant, engineer, seniour engineer (1957-63), seniour researcher of the Peroblematic laboratory of nuclear physics (1963 –78), docent of Nuclear Physics Department (1978-2005). Since 1988 complemets  research activity with teaching at National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.

Scientific activity dedicated to physics of fast neutrons, development of accelerators, investigation of interaction of fast neutrons with nuclei.

Courses (previous an d current): “Physics of nucleus and elementary particles” and sery of special courses: “Methods of registration of ionazing radiation”, “Interaction of ionazing radiation with matter”, “Detectors of ionazing radiation”, “Accelerator of charged particles”, “Modern developments in the field of accelerator systems of charged particles (colliders), etc.

Results of research were included into international nuclear data library (EXFOR) of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), partly published in monography  частково опубліковані в Physics of fast neutrons” (1977).  Suppoted active scientific collaboration with institute of experimental physics of Debrecen (Hungary) and Kurchatov Institute of Atomic Energy (Moskow). Author of more then 130 publications.

Hohnored with National Governmet Award in the field of science and technics-2000, awarded by 2 medals.

Under his supervision 2 PhD thesises were defended.

In 1986 took directly part in the activity on liquidation of consequences of accident at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
