Vladimir Khomenkov

Professor assistant at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kiev Polytechnic Institute”, Department of Nuclear Power Plants and Thermal Physics Engineering. Master degree in Radiophysics (Taras Shevchenko National University of Ukraine),  Ph.D.degree in Nuclear Physics (Kiev Institute for Nuclear Research, National Academy of Science of Ukraine). More then 10 years of experience in Kiev Institute for Nuclear Research, National Academy of Science of Ukraine as researcher. Had post-doctoral fellowships in Padua section of INFN (Italy), University of Padua (Italy), Hamburg University, DESY (Germany), testing and mounting work on CMS site (CERN). Two years worked as invited researcher at University of Caen, GANIL (France). Currently works as senior researcher in Kiev Institute for Nuclear Research in development of TSM, simulation of vertical migration of radionuclides in the soil of Chornobyl exclusion zone. Leading courses on “Dosimetry and radiation protection” and “Theory of Nuclear Reactors”.
